Ellen Trout Park & Zoo*
Located on Loop 287N at Martin Luther
King, Jr. Dr., the Ellen Trout Park & Zoo is home to many
animals. It is set in a park with a 60-acre lake, nature trail,
playgrounds, and picnic areas. Come ride on the Z&OO Railroad
express for a one-mile trip around the park. Call 936-633-0399

Admission for Adults $3, Children 4 to 11,
$1.50. Children under 4 admitted free. Open daily 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. in winter. Summer hours Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m., Friday thru Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Museum of East Texas*
The museum is housed in a 1905 vintage
church. A permanent collection of East Texas heritage, character
and history as well as art, science, and history exhibits
on loan from many major museums.
